On Tuesday, April 15, former Capuchino High School standout Ryan Lordier’s current college team, the Manhattan Jaspers, won 18-16 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the LIU Sharks.
The game took place at LIU Baseball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Sharks this season.
The Jaspers’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 3 p.m. at John P. Bobo Field against Niagara Purple Eagles.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former San Mateo County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
