Former Carlmont High School standout Sarissa Block played on Saturday, May 10 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Softball Championship

On Saturday, May 10, former Carlmont High School standout Sarissa Block’s current collegiate team the Cal State East Bay Pioneers lost 2-6 against the Western Washington Vikings in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Pioneer Softball Field at 12 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Western Washington Vikings in the tournament.

The Cal State East Bay Pioneers’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 10 at 12 p.m. at Pioneer Softball Field.
