On Friday, April 11, former Junipero Serra High School standout DJ Ghiorso’s current college team, the Loyola Marymount Lions, won 17-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the San Francisco Dons.
The game took place at Benedetti Diamond. This was their first matchup against the Dons this season.
The Lions’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1:05 p.m. at Benedetti Diamond against San Francisco Dons.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former San Mateo County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
