On Friday, May 9, former Carlmont High School standout Sarissa Block’s current college team, the Cal State East Bay Pioneers, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Western Washington Vikings.

The game took place at Pioneer Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Vikings this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 9 at 4:25 p.m. at Pioneer Softball Field against Concordia Irvine Golden Eagles.
