On Friday, May 30, former Half Moon Bay High School standout Jared Mettam’s current collegiate team the Saint Mary’s Gaels won 6-4 against the Oregon State Beavers in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field at 5 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Oregon State Beavers in the tournament.

The Saint Mary’s Gaels’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 31 at 6:05 p.m. at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.
