On Saturday, March 22, former Junipero Serra High School standout Jake Downing’s current college team, the Cal Poly Mustangs, won 7-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oregon State Beavers.
The game took place at Baggett Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Beavers this season.
The Mustangs’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 at 1 p.m. at Baggett Stadium against Oregon State Beavers.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former San Mateo County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
