On Thursday, May 1, former Notre Dame High School Belmont standout Alexa Couto’s current college team, the Concordia Irvine Golden Eagles, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Biola Eagles.
The game took place at Golden Eagles Field. This was their fifth matchup against the Eagles this season.
The Golden Eagles’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 12 p.m. at Golden Eagles Field against Azusa Pacific Cougars.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former San Mateo County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
