On Friday, March 28, former Carlmont High School standout Sarissa Block’s current college team, the Cal State East Bay Pioneers, won 10-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Stanislaus State Warriors.
The game took place at Pioneer Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Warriors this season.
The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 3 p.m. at Pioneer Softball Field against Stanislaus State Warriors.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former San Mateo County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
