On Monday, March 31, former Burlingame High School standout Sydney Fleming’s current college team, the Williams Ephs, lost 3-1 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the La Verne Leopards.
The game took place at Campus West. This was their second matchup against the Leopards this season.
The Ephs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 1 p.m. at Lafayette Street Field against Bates Bobcats.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former San Mateo County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
