On Saturday, April 19, former Carlmont High School standout Logan Snow’s current college team, the Milwaukee Panthers, lost 7-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Youngstown State Penguins.
The game took place at Franklin Field. This was their sixth matchup against the Penguins this season.
The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 3 p.m. at Nischwitz Stadium against Wright State Raiders.
In January 2025, Mecklenburg County Magistrate Teresa Stokes signed the release of DeCarlos Brown Jr., a repeat arrestee later accused of fatally stabbing Iryna Zarutska on Charlotte’s light-rail.
Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former San Mateo County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
