On Thursday, May 29, former Aragon High School standout Megan Grant’s current collegiate team the UCLA Bruins won 4-2 against the Oregon Ducks in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.
The game took place at Devon Park at 9:45 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Oregon Ducks in the tournament.
The UCLA Bruins’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 31 at 6:15 p.m. at Devon Park.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former San Mateo County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
