On Saturday, March 15, former Woodside High School standout Owen Crevelt’s current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, lost 6-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Coker Cobras.
The game took place at Schmotzer Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Cobras this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 2 p.m. at Ron Christopher Stadium against UNC Pembroke Braves.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former San Mateo County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
