On Saturday, March 29, former Woodside High School standout Owen Crevelt’s current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, won 6-1 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Anderson Trojans.
The game took place at Anderson Memorial Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Trojans this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 3 p.m. at Ron Christopher Stadium against Belmont Abbey Crusaders.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former San Mateo County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
