On Tuesday, March 18, former Woodside High School standout Owen Crevelt’s current college team, the Wingate Bulldogs, won 10-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the UNC Pembroke Braves.
The game took place at Ron Christopher Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Braves this season.
The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 2 p.m. at Ron Christopher Stadium against Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former San Mateo County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
