On Thursday, May 15, former Aragon High School standout Rae D’Amato’s current collegiate team the Cal State San Marcos Cougars won 9-1 against the Western Washington Vikings in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at CSUSM Softball Field at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Western Washington Vikings in the tournament.

The Cal State San Marcos Cougars’ next game will take place on Friday, May 16 at 11 a.m. at CSUSM Softball Field.
