On Saturday, April 12, former Notre Dame High School standout Malaina Alifano’s current college team, the Northern Colorado Bears, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Sacramento State Hornets.
The game took place at Shea Stadium. This was their fifth matchup against the Hornets this season.
It was the last Northern Colorado Bears’ game this season

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former San Mateo County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
