On Saturday, March 29, former Sequoia High School standout Ainsley Waddell’s current college team, the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Cal Poly Mustangs.
The game took place at Campus Diamond. This was their first matchup against the Mustangs this season.
The Gauchos’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 2:30 p.m. at Campus Diamond against Cal Poly Mustangs.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former San Mateo County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
