2 professional licenses issued in San Bruno during March

Genbusiness009

There were two professional licenses issued in San Bruno during March, according to California’s Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA).

Through the first three months of 2020, there were two licenses issued in San Bruno. During the same time last year, none were issued. Professional licenses are issued in part to help the city keep record of any businesses that may owe taxes. An increase in the number of licenses issued could mean the city will receive more tax income in the coming year.

The DCA is composed of several agencies, bureaus and commissions that influence business growth and job creation through regulation. The agency has roots that date back to 1876 when California passed the Medical Practice Act of 1876. Today the agency issues more than 280 license types including certificates, registrations and permits.
