On Friday, March 28, former Carlmont High School standout Tripp Garrish’s current college team, the Air Force Falcons, lost 7-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the New Mexico Lobos.
The game took place at Santa Ana Star Field. This was their first matchup against the Lobos this season.
The Falcons’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at Santa Ana Star Field against New Mexico Lobos.
In January 2025, Mecklenburg County Magistrate Teresa Stokes signed the release of DeCarlos Brown Jr., a repeat arrestee later accused of fatally stabbing Iryna Zarutska on Charlotte’s light-rail.
Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former San Mateo County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
