On Tuesday, March 25, former Junipero Serra High School standout Jake Downing’s current college team, the Cal Poly Mustangs, won 10-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Pepperdine Waves.
The game took place at Eddy D. Field Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Waves this season.
The Mustangs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6 p.m. at Phil Swimley Field at Dobbins Stadium against UC Davis Aggies.

These former San Mateo County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
