On Wednesday, April 2, former Burlingame High School standout Will Robbins’ current college team, the Princeton Tigers, lost 13-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Seton Hall Pirates.
The game took place at Mike Sheppard, Sr. Stadium at Owen T. Carroll Field. This was their first matchup against the Pirates this season.
The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 11:35 a.m. at Meiklejohn Stadium against Penn Quakers.
In January 2025, Mecklenburg County Magistrate Teresa Stokes signed the release of DeCarlos Brown Jr., a repeat arrestee later accused of fatally stabbing Iryna Zarutska on Charlotte’s light-rail.
Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former San Mateo County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
