On Saturday, March 22, former Woodside High School standout Ben Giovannetti’s current college team, the Ball State Cardinals, lost 9-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Xavier Musketeers.
The game took place at J. Page Hayden Field. This was their second matchup against the Musketeers this season.
The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 at 1 p.m. at J. Page Hayden Field against Xavier Musketeers.

Mecklenburg County received $3.3 million from a Chicago-based political foundation after leaders agreed to “reduce the use of incarceration” for repeat criminals like DeCarlos Brown, Jr.
These former San Mateo County area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, Sept. 8.
